CHAINSWORDS

These machines you may know as 'sounder pounder tree cutterdowners' are somehow swords and your two favorite Warhammer 40k heroes are dueling with them.

None of the smoke associated with chainsaws is to be seen but the sound and the whirring of the blades can't be missed. Not to mention the sparks caused by the clash of blades.

Yes, they're clashing.

Standing a good foot and a half shorter than Garviel, Cain is somehow managing to not get a chainsword blade stuck in his head. He can't fight the Space Marine strength on strength but his ability to deflect the blade must either be instinct or awesome skill. Either way, they still pause every so often because fighting a frakking Astartes is like hitting your head on a brick wall.

Feel free to gawk, think they're insane, or that their weapons can't be wieldy due to physics but they still handle them like they're Jedi Masters.

At the park, of course.

Garviel and Cain will be tagging the threads separately and threadjacking between the two may happen.]

[it's a blow to his pride to admit this but...]

...yeah, that might be helpful. I can probably use whatever I can get.

Just give me a call, or come by in person, I'll be happy to help.

Alright. If I ever feel like brushing up, you'll be the dude I go to.

[Garviel gives him a smile.] Talk to cain as well, he's quite an excellent swordsman and a little closer to your size. You'll learn more about fighting human opponents from him than you can from me.

[identity profile] timetables.livejournal.com 2011-06-10 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
I guess you probably stick with fighting other giants or something, huh.

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
Just whatever is the enemy of humanity and the Imperium at the time.

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes. I did fight the Megarachnids of Murder once. Did I tell you about that?

[identity profile] timetables.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
The other dude said something about them.

But wait are they seriously called that. Someone legitimately named them the Megarachnids of Murder? Sounds like a lame sports team.

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
That's what we Astartes named them. The name of the Planet was Murder, and we found huge 8 legged creatures there. They slew 3 companies of Blood Angels, and nearly destroyed an entire company of the Emperor's children sent to rescue them as well.

[identity profile] timetables.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Wait no hold up somebody named an entire planet Murder?

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-11 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. The final tranmission from Captain Frome was, "This world is Murder."

So we named it that, and proceeded to bring it to compliance by killing every alien on it.

Oh okay I guess context kind of sells that. With the explanation that's actually pretty fucking badass.

Gotta give that sort of exposition from the top, big man.

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-12 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
[Garviel laughs briefly]

While I am a storyteller, or so I am told by my brothers of the Legion, I generally need to be told to tell a story if I am to properly craft the account.

[He rubs his neck, thoughtful.]

Would you like to hear stories of my world sometime?

[identity profile] timetables.livejournal.com 2011-06-12 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah why not.

Yours sound pretty badass. Better than mine at least, mine is just pretty lame for the most part.

[identity profile] lunawolves10th.livejournal.com 2011-06-12 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Very well. Just name a time and I'll give you an account. Perhaps you can tell me one of your world as well.

[identity profile] timetables.livejournal.com 2011-06-12 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
World explodes, thirteen year olds have to pick up the pieces. That's kind of the whole deal. I'd tell you how it ends but I have no clue, for all I know we all just die miserably.
